When do we pay for services?
Parents are asked to keep current and pay their bill on the last day of their child’s appointment(s) each week, unless other arrangements have been made.

What about homework?
Parent involvement and daily homework are an essential component of the therapy process. If you are given exercises or worksheets, please follow through for a more positive outcome.

What is the cancellation policy?
Please make an effort to attend all scheduled appointments. Late cancellations take away an opportunity for a session from other clients. Cancellations due to illness are unpredictable and understandable; however, frequent cancellations may reflect a lack of commitment to the therapy process and will likely result in unmet goals.

If you need to cancel an appointment, please allow 24 hours notice otherwise a fee will be assessed. The same charge is applied to no-shows. It is our hope that your child will make steady progress and benefit by being seen regularly.

Should I keep my appointment if my child is sick?
Unfortunately, the answer must be no. We would like to continue sessions without interruption; however, for the sake of others we must ask that you cancel as soon as possible. In return, our therapists will afford you the same consideration and notify you as soon as possible if they become ill.

Will my child be affected if we miss appointments?
Your therapist has made recommendations based on your child’s needs. Frequent cancellations or a lack of continuity will likely have a deleterious effect on the outcome.
