Special Education Family Resource Fair                            Download Event Flyer Here

On March 12th, 2008  The Special Education Family Resource Fair was hosted by the Irvine Unified School District’s Special Education Community Advisory Committee, with the support of the Irvine Public Schools Foundation, this family-oriented fair featured dozens of vendors and local organizations that serve the Irvine community, along with school officials. The event was free and open to the public.

Proceeds went to help fund the Active Playground Support program, which seeks to promote inclusion and a sense of belonging in children who might otherwise be left out during recess and lunchtime activities. Ten percent of the roughly 25,000 children enrolled in the Irvine Unified School District qualify for special education services.
